Last week, we linked to a ProPublica article about the Trump administration’s unprecedented push for executions (11 federal in the past year compared to three since 1963). Last night, after many attempted delays and appeals, the Supreme Court’s allowed the first woman on death row since 1953 to be executed. Her name was Lisa Montgomery.
